Fearless Men’s Weekly Round-Up | December 27th, 2012

Man Up coverI hope everyone’s Christmas went outstanding!!! My family’s was a success! The food! The gifts! The movies! We had leftovers tonight for dinner. More good news, my Bears beat the Cardinals so are still in the playoff hunt!

The Man Up Leadership App launch was a success. Over 3000 hits on Christmas Day!!!

Thanks to all of you who helped spread the word. For those that are new to Fearless Men you might be wondering what this Man Up app is all about. As you already know our goal at Fearless Men is to invigorate and challenge all men to take responsibility of their lives. See our ‘About’ page to learn more. The Christian men behind developing this Man Up App also want to see men accept their responsibilities and hope to provide an anonymous environment for growth and learning together.

“The Man Up app is an environment on your mobile device that will enable you to learn and grow, be challenged, confess and solve problems together with other men while also engaging in adventure – all inside one mobile environment. We believe God made men to lead…We believe its time for men to Man Up and take personal responsibility for their growth!” Click here to learn more…

To accept the challenge and DL the App it cost you nothing, but you gain everything. Download it now!

And now with our Weekly Round-Up. Thank you to all who commented and continue to participate at Fearless Men!

These first 2 articles are very sad. Especially given the time of year. When children should be celebrating with family and receiving gifts, the last thing on their wish list should be for a “dad”. Unfortunately this is not the case and many men have run away from manly responsibility and are not Manning Up. They’re still boys that are able to have kids. It’s a shame! There are also men who have stood in the gap to become fathers to these children. My co-worker is one of these men…5 kids total, 2 adopted. We should respect and honor these men, along with all the other fathers, as role models and encourage them to stay strong.

In the words of John Wayne:

  1. I’m glad I could be the first non-sad link in your roundup!

My father is a truck driver. He was almost never home, but he never missed a Christmas.

    • Last week you got 2 articles listed and this week you’re near first. What are the chances?! Haha! Glad to hear he was at least able to make it back for Christmas when his job required extended periods away from home.

  2. Hey John, I know I’m a little late – but huge thanks for including a link to my blog 🙂
