Ways to keep it Cheap in Las Vegas without Being Cheap

When visiting Las Vegas there are so many different actives and things to do! From the shows, to the night clubs, to the fancy dinners, and other activates anyone can do Las Vegas on a dime and still have the best time.

Over the past weekend, four of us girls went to Las Vegas on a budget. We purchased a last minute hotels and flight deal for Thursday through Sunday and spent under $400 a girl, shared one hotel room right in the center of The Strip. Each day we partook in drinking, dancing, eating, and activities.

On day one cocktails at the hotel casino bar after the flight arrived, was the first move. After that we ventured to a few penny slots and picked up some free drinks off a cocktail waitress. Then we headed to a different casino bar where the drinks were 2 for 1 happy hour specials! From there we walked The Strip with the cocktails in hand and had a lot of free fun! We took photos with celebrity look-a-likes, watched street performers, and enjoyed the fountains. When we were hungry and headed to a great food court where meals were under $15 per person.

Day two we had it all planned out on how to save money and not spend too much for a good time. We walked to a nearby 7/11 and purchased a case of water for the hotel room for $6 and three bottles of wine for $20. This little walk saved so much money on bottled water from hotel gift shops, and pre-drinking in the room prior to going out. At the pool we purchased one large cup to refill for the next two days at a discounted price. That night we ate outside and shared pizza and salad with sangria. At night we went out and used free drink tickets and cut the lines at clubs that promoters had asked us to go to.

On day three we used the refill cups at the pool, saved money buying show tickets by getting a discounted high roller Ferris Wheel ticket.  We ate at a Mexican restaurant and shared fajitas, and used Uber to cab it back to the airport for our flight home.

No one bought us drinks, paid for our food and fun and each spent between $60 to $100 per day with a ton of memories, full bellies and a good buzz.
