Best Walking Dead Quotes | Zombie Survivor Tips To Live By

walking dead quotes Each week we usually bring our favorite Man Quotes. This week we’ve been inspired from recent episodes of “Walking Dead.” If you haven’t seen the show, it’s great drama and great action. It’s a story not just about fighting the undead (zombies), but about managing your resources and surviving in the toughest of circumstances. I like to think about what I’d do in similar circumstances. To prove my point, here are some of the best Walking Dead quotes.

There’s us and the dead. We survive this by pulling together, not apart.

-Rick Grimes

Although you may not be fighting off the undead yourself, ultimately there’s really just us and the dead. In this life, we move through difficult circumstances by coming together, not tearing apart.

I’m just a man looking for his wife and son. Anyone who gets in the way is going to lose.

-Rick Grimes

Rick’s resolve to find, save and protect his wife and son are the hallmarks of the man I want to be! best walking dead quotes

Everyone in hell wants a slurpee.

-Daryl

The favorite character of myself and probably everyone else who watch the show. Some of the very best Walking Dead quotes come from this guy. Here, he’s responded to someone’s wishful request for a weapon. Well, even in hell people have some wishful thinking-Daryl’s using his dry wit to comment on someone’s outrageous wishful thinking. Don’t be the guy who asks for a gun when no one’s going to trust you with it.
A little bit of trivia: Daryl Dixon does not exist in The Walking Dead graphic novels.

People with nothing to hide don’t usually feel the need to say so.

-Michonne

Just chew on that.

Best Walking Dead Quotes

If you’re not already a fan from reading these Walking Dead Quotes, I promise if you watch the first two episodes of the first season (available on Netflix and Amazon Prime) you’ll become hooked right away. It’s not just the character development, it’s the life challenges, lessons, and processing that’ll have you up at night thinking how YOU would survive a world on the brink.

  1. I’ve never seen the show. It does look interesting, but I think if I were to turn it on my wife would leave the room. πŸ™‚

    • Todd Mayfield says

Yeah that might happen! Then again, I know some diehard Walking Dead ladies.

      • My girlfriend loves the show – we watch it every Friday night. The second season moved a bit slow for me (not nearly enough walkers) but can NOT get enough of the 3rd season!

        • Todd Mayfield says

I agree-the first 10 episodes of season 2 dragged. And the female characters were poorly written. But they’ve certainly re-upped their game since then.

I’m most impressed by the groups new-found efficiency and resourcefulness.

      • That’d be me. πŸ˜€

      • It’s halarious to see men comment that their “wife would leave the room”. I’ve been a die hard fan of TWD since the DAY it aired in 2010. Of course, I’ve loved scary movies/ghost hunting, apolcalyptic movies, my entire life as well. You might be suprised by your wife. She more than likely will become the obsessed fan once she meets Rick & Daryl (;-) ) and you will be wishing she had never seen it! lol Come check out my WALKING DEAD FAN PAGE at facebook.com/RICKSCHICKStheWalkingDead or follow us on Twitter @RICKSCHICKSTWD or visit our WEBSITE at RicksChicksTheWalkingDead.webs.com/
        God bless!!

  2. THat last one is great! I dont’ watch the show but I’ve heard good things about it.

Before I had my girls, I wouldn’t have believed it, but that 2nd quote is a great one too. It’s true. Once I had my girls and got married, everythign flipped to them. Suddenly I wasn’t this one man team anymore, suddenly everything was about them in my head. That 2nd quote is dead on, dudes.

    • Todd Mayfield says

I’m sure if you were like Rick, and got separated from his wife and kids, you’d go all beast mode a la Taken’s Liam Neeson.

  3. I know this is a man centered blog, but I am enjoying it. Kind of like reading Men’s Health. I’m so glad you did this. My husband and I were having the converstation this past weekend on how we don’t get all the zombie love going on right now. The only zombies I’ve ever watched were on Night of the Living Dead and they weren’t that great, but I kind of get it and am curious to check out that series now. Love the slurpee quote. I’ll have to use that when one of my employees is whining.

    • Todd Mayfield says

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! According to Alexa (and I question the validity of their results sometimes) about 50% of our readers are ladies!

You should definitely use that slurpee quote in the office…

  4. It’s definitely an awesome show. I have watched it from the beginning and think everyone should if they haven’t. It’s funny, I was talking to my brothers about it the other day and I mentioned that I had been checking out the comics to see what happens in them. I don’t know, I like to see how the writers do the show differently (which they do) and I think it’s really cool. Anyway, thanks for the bit of entertainment.

Also, love the site. You definitely have a winner. Really like your brand. I think it serves a need and gives excellent value. Keep it up guys!

    Cheers,
    Justin

    • Todd Mayfield says

Thanks for the encouragement man. How’d you find us??

Yes, I love The Walking Dead. I’ve watched every episode. I’ve heard that compared to the graphic novels they’ve actually ADDED characters. Such as Daryl. Does he really not even exist in the comic??

      • No problem man. I think I found you through google search for getting in shape. Not real sure exactly. The slider with the walking dead is what drew me in. Then I realized what you had going on with the site and really enjoyed it.

Yes, Daryl never existed in the comics. They have followed along with it as far as story line goes but changed up events that have happened (or how they happened) along the way.

Anyway, look forward to see what you guys come up with next.

  5. Herschel made a comment in the last episode of the second season (or was it the first episode, 3rd season??!?!)…. awesome, if not a little sacreligous. Something about
“When Jesus said “look for the resurrection of the dead, I thought he had something a little different in mind,”… I WISH I could remember the exact quote; it is a definite top-ten!!

  6. Oh yeah…and not to be a critic or the correction police..lol…but Daryl said… “People in hell want slurpees…NOT Everyone in Hell. Just thought I would let you know! lol
