I’m going to try something new here at Fearless Men’s Weekly Round-Up. I’m going to pick my favorite article(s) of the week and post them here. This week the first one is about the lady who sued the Golden Arches over some Hot Coffee. What’s funny is that earlier today I was at physical therapy when we starting talking about her, and I hadn’t even read Edward’s article yet. I only found it just now because he commented on Fearless Men. Had I known the true story…well, I don’t think they were actually interested in the true story but were more using her as an example of how ridiculous suing has gotten in the US. Which I happen to agree with. She bought the coffee. McDonalds was providing a service and staying within the law. She made the decision to purchase under no duress. Enough said. But this is just my opinion. The discussion can be done over at his article which is directly below.
My other favorite is about choosing a broker. Somehow we got into a discussion of stock trading when the stock market tanked back in 09. For those of you familiar with that historic time I think you’ll also enjoy JW’s article and infographic.

I like the new format with picking your favorites. I appreciate the mention of my article. It is always appreciated.
Thanks Grayson! Sometimes it’ll be hard to pick just 1 or 2 so I foresee getting up to 3 favorites.
Thanks 🙂
You’re welcome!
Thanks for the mention John! Hope you’re having a great week!
NP John! Hope you are too!
Thanks for the mention! 🙂
NP!
Thanks for the mentions and I’m honored that you chose my post to highlight.
And you really showed the power of commenting to get your word out. I really wanted that post to do well, so I spent 3 hours commenting yesterday on about 50 blogs
I’m glad you wrote on it! It’s a topic most of us probably use without knowing the facts.
And yes, commenting definitely works!
Thanks for the mention John!
Thanks for commenting throughout the week!
Great articles and thanks for the mention! A girl who went to the school where I taught in Brooklyn was the one who sued Mickey D’s for making her fat. Check it out from 2002. Classic! Have a great weekend!
I’ve never heard about that one. Googling now….
I love that Ronald McDonald looks like he’s praying.
