Fearless Men’s Weekly Round-Up

It’s been 3 months since Todd and I started Fearless Men and during that time we’ve been introduced into the vast world of blogging. Naturally we ended up reading a lot of articles and so we’d like to share with you all our weekly top recommendations on different topics.

We’ve really enjoyed blogging and interacting with all our Fearless Men readers. We greatly appreciate you visiting, reading and participating with us. Some of you have given us good ideas for future articles, and others constructive feedback. We hope you enjoy some of the articles below!

Mistakes to Avoid When Buying a Home from Jeremy @ModestMoney

Purchasing a home is a big decision, especially if it’s your first. Whether you’re in the process or planning for the future it’s good to keep these in mind. I remember purchasing my home and the biggest piece of advice I received was “Location, Location, Location”.

Choosing a Mortgage from Jeremy @ModestMoney

“When it comes to choosing a mortgage, there are essentially two types to choose between: fixed rate, and variable rate.” Do you know the difference? It’s important to know your options because once you’re locked in it isn’t always guaranteed you can refinance to get out of it.

Attack of The Debt Monkey from JW @All Things Finance

“There are far too many people who carry over balances each month whether it be credit cards, personal loans or student loans. Not only do American citizens borrow far too much, but the government also spends at an uncontrollable rate. Today’s infographic takes a look at how much the average American spends and how the addition of government debt is crippling us today.”

John @Married With Debt talks about his vacation in Croatia with his family. Pictures and all!

Erika @From Shopping To Savings talks about Dealing with Financial Stress and Grad Student Loans. For any students out there it’s a good read on managing finances during a time when income is low and debt keeps piling up.

Art of Manliness posted a fun and interesting article on ways to stay fit and get exercise while commuting and at work. I loved the pictorials!

Dave @All Things Pondered gives us some insight on Greed, Human Nature and The Stock Market. His article isn’t on how to play the stock market or understanding stock trading but on Greed as a motivating factor and how it affects the average American.
